Introduction

In this video, I am going to show you how to set up this fantastic medical WordPress website from beginning to end, step by step, with no steps missed.

You are going to see how to get over 2000 of these same professional quality themes and one hundred and fifty complete theme site kits for just about any website you wish to build. Here’s the amazing part. Other than hosting, everything I am going to show you is free.

Templates come with multiple pages to pick from. In most cases, you can pick from two or more Homepage layouts. Most contact pages come with two or more to choose from. Some kits come with over 20 pages. Landing pages come with moving progress bars, moving counters, and sliding effects to sections.

The hard work has already been done. For a finished project, you simply change the text colors, add images, and maybe move a few things around. That’s it.

The Takeaway

The power of this tutorial is you will see how to set up brilliant websites like the one shown here in 20 minutes or less, not days or weeks. Let’s jump in.

Envato Templates Kit

We are now going to apply an Envato Template onto each page. This is a page-by-page process. Our pages added show in alphabetical order, but we will install our templates in the order of how we have our menu set up from left to right.

Hover over Home and click, Edit. At the top, click, Edit With Elementor. We are now in the Elementor Page Builder dashboard. In the middle of our screen, we have three icons. Select the Green Envato Leaf. We are now where Envato offers templates and template kits. We are going to select Free Kits at the top. Envato provides some of the most professional themes we have come across. There are well over 2000 themes and over 150 full site template kits.

Install a Medical theme Template

In the search box, I am going to type in Medical for this video today. Click, Install Kit. Now, click View Kit. The pages now shown are all the pages in the kit we can choose from to build our website.

Since we are looking to install a template onto our Homepage, let’s select a Home design and click, Insert Template. We can now see the template installed onto our Homepage. We will have some minor adjustments at the end to better refine how our pages look. For now, click Update at the bottom and let’s get the rest of our page templates up and running.

Just like when we added the new pages and WordPress, installing the Envato templates are more rinse-and-repeat steps for each of our pages.

Head to the top left and click on the Hamburger menu and click on, Exit to Dashboard. Click on the WordPress icon and let’s select the next page and apply a template. Click Doctors and click, Edit. Click, Edit With Elementor. Click the Green Leaf. Click, View Installed Kit. Select, Doctors and Insert template. The template is now installed. Click, Update to save it to our page. Click the Hamburger menu and click on Exit To Dashboard.

Click on the WordPress icon and let’s select the next page to apply our Envato template. Click Departments and click, Edit. Click, Edit With Elementor. Click the Green Leaf. Click, View Installed Kit. Select, Departments. The template is now installed. Click, Update. Click the Hamburger and click Exit To Dashboard.

Click WordPress. Click Pricing and click, edit. Click, Edit Elementor. Click the Leaf. Click, View Installed Kit. Select, Pricing. The template is now installed. Click, Update. Click the Hamburger and click, Exit To Dashboard.

Click WordPress and select the next page. Click, Contact Us and click, Edit. Click Edit Elementor. Click the Leaf. Click, View Installed Kit. Select a contact page. The template is now installed. Click, Update. Click the Hamburger and click Exit To Dashboard.

Click WordPress. We now have both Elementor builder and Envato page templates activated onto each page of our new website.

Organize Menu Navigation

Let’s now organize our new pages on the Menu. Menus are used in the navigation sections of websites and where we click to go to other pages. Hover over Appearance and click, Menus. This is where we control how our pages appear in the navigation
sections on our website. We will want them in the conventional order. Click and drag the pages into position. Click, Create Menu. Check the box, Automatically Add New Top-level Pages To This Menu, and check the Primary box. Click, Save Menu.

Adjust Settings

We are now going to adjust our Settings. Hover over Settings and click, Reading. Check the radio button, A Static Page, and Homepage: select the dropdown Home. Leave all other settings as they are and click Save Changes below.

Editing Pages and Change Colors in Elementor

Text Editing

From the dashboard, Click, Pages. Hover over our Homepage, and click, Edit with Elementor. To edit any part of our website, first, click in the section on the page. The Editor on the left will switch to the correct tool panel. We can either edit it on the live page or do it in the tool panel on the left.

Text Styling

The same applies for text styling. Click Style above. In the Text Color box, I can change it to any color I want. Also clicking on the globe produces a palette of colors Elementor has preset. You can set your own by clicking on the Hamburger, click, Site Settings and Global Colors. Here you can reset the colors Elementor provided and add more at the bottom. Let’s leave the color settings and click, Update.

Elementor Views

Let’s take a look at all the ways we can view our site. For a full-page view, click the arrow on the edge of the palette. This allows us to have an unobstructed view of the page we are working on. The Envato templates are responsive. Click the Monitor icon below. Click the Tablet, this is your tablet view. Click, Mobile.

Live Editing

On-page editing and viewing for any device is just one of the great features of Elementor. For example, if something does not look quite right in the mobile mode, when you edited and update it, it saves just for that device and not across the board for all devices. This way you can make the finest of adjustments per device. I’ll leave everything as is.

Summary

With practice, you can quickly edit any template and change anything or build your theme from the ground up. To learn more, we have provided a link to Elementor. There you will find a wealth of instruction and video tutorials to advance your skill level.
